So ... what have I been up to?
I'v been updating the website with new photos and information, and I've been having a simply lovely time painting new designs, sewing clothing and cushion covers which are now available to buy on this website, and I've been sketching new tops and an idea for a handbag which is in my head and waiting to be born :-)
Here are some of the things I've been working on ...
The Teena Hughes Interior Design Collection

The Plus Size Wearable Art Collection
My clothing designs are perfect for average sized, plus sized and pregnant women - very roomy, bright and classy, yet comfortable and they'll make you look gorgeous no matter what size you are :-) New photos will be online soon - stay tuned!
New TeenaTops and Tunics
From my recent sketches I've been creating new fabric:
This week I've been painting new designs on silk and sewing gorgeous new tops - I just love the colours! This is a TeenaTop in hot pink and orange sandwashed silk - open neck, side slits at the hem, roomy sleeves:
I've been sketching ideas for simple Tunic tops, and I'm thinking I'll paint some with faces, perhaps with Picasso style designs ...

Here's the first almost-finished Tunic top - very simple rectangle shape - suits all sizes and can be worn over other tops with sleeves if you like. This is the first one in lime green and hot pink, and I'm about to add a v-neck. This is so delicious! Makes me think of watermelon :

Mooshie's Musings : In my Studio
My cat Ms Mooshie has been loving all the painting and sewing I've been doing this week, and we all know she LOVES silk :-)
In this photo she has snuggled up next to a gorgeous handpainted silk cushion I received as a gift from my Icelandic silk artist friend - the detail on the silk is from ancient runes, and I love the gold highlights in the design.
Sorry my newsletter wqs a bit slow in arriving, but I did have lots of great silk I was working on and which I wanted to share with you - forgive me? I hope so :-)
PS - I have set up the Comments at the end of the Newsletter and I'd love to hear what you think about my designs, so if you have time, send me a message - thanks!
That's it for the moment, I hope you have a faaabulous week.
