Thoughts of Santa in his sleigh, reindeers merrily skipping through the sky, jingle bells jingling, Elves and children all a-twitter :-)

It's that time of year again and I have -no- idea how it zoomed up so fast!!

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you the very best for a fabulous Holiday Season, for a Merry Christmas and a marvellous New Year!

Take time out to enjoy yourself, don't allow anything but happiness to rest on your shoulders, and most of all - enjoy yourself! :-)

I've had a wee health problem recently so haven't been able to stand in my Studio for great lengths of time painting on silk (which is what I'd planned), so I've been working on smaller projects, some of which I'll list below - I do hope you like them  :-)

Abfab Designer Pens

I've had an idea for the longest time, ever since I saw these beauties overseas, and I am now very excited to be making them myself - beautiful pens with handcrafted artisan-created glass beads.

Each artisan-crafted designer glass bead is chosen by me and assembled to make these gorgeous pens - do you have someone in your life who'd love a treasure like this?

I've made some gorgeous little bags to go with them, and they are so chic, so divine - I want to keep them all :-)

There will be more information available on these as soon as I take more photos :-)

Although I haven't been able to paint very much recently, I have been preparing a whole host of items I'll be adding to my website - smaller items perfect as gifts for loved ones (or as a delicious treat for you!). They'll be online VERY soon:

All of my sketching and daydreaming has paid off :-)

I'm itching to get back to silk painting and sewing to create all my new designs. The next newsletter should have photos and lots of new goodies for you to see :-)

Here are a few sketches below - the one in the top left is me getting the proportions right for the sketches, in the top right is the new EVE SLEEVE I've designed which will be sheer silk chiffon and will slip over whatever you're wearing, just to add a little bit of glamour :-) Below that are two kaftans - the one on the bottom left is the 35"/90cm long one, and the one on the bottom right is the 45"/cm one.

Fashionista Afternoon Teas

Yes! They're happening! Woohoo! The first one is scheduled for Melbourne (register and read more here) on Sat 29th January, 2011. The next one will be a few weeks later in Sydney, and I'm also planning the ones to hold in Paris in June/July 2011.

Come along and try on my gorgeous handpainted wearable art pieces and order one for yourself. We'll have a little fashion parade, take some photos, and have a chat over a cuppa. Sizes are from small to plus size (around sizes 10-28), so something for everyone!
