Today's fashion tour update
It's a "great to be alive" day, and I'm filled with the "joie de vivre"! (the "joy of life") - How about you?
I've been looking at different restaurants, cafés and other venues we can visit during our Plus Size Paris Fashion Tour, and I really would love for us to go to an old favourite of mine ...
Not a restaurant, but a Cabaret/Show ...
On a little corner in Montmartre is a wonderful place rich with history, called Le Lapin Agile. Opened in 1860, artists and writers like Picasso, Utrillo and Modigliani used to frequent this place and helped to create the history. These days, a very well-known French singer - Yves Mathieu - and his devlishly handsome sons, Frédéric and Vincent, keep the art of French chanson (song) alive.
The name stems from an early sketch of a rabbit jumping out of a saucepan ("lapin" is French for rabbit).
Cost: Cabaret Show includes one drink - €24 per person

What's for dinner?
So many choices, not enough nights to enjoy all the fabulous restaurants in Paris!
We'll have to make do :-)
I know that wherever we eat in Paris, we'll have a grand time together, getting to know each other over hot chocolate, coffee or tea - or a glass of wine or champagne.
How do these menus sound to you?

4 courses for dinner approx €25-30 per person (drinks extra)

"sardines Bretonnes grillés, beurre" - sardines from Brittany, grilled in butter

"le lapin a la moutarde, pates fraiches" - rabbit with mustard, fresh pasta

"le supreme de pintade au jus de romarin, choux de Bruxelles" - Guineafowl Supreme with plums, brussell sprouts

"les quenelles de banane sauce chocolat" - banana dumplings with chocolate sauce.

What to take, what to wear in Paris?
I hand-paint and sew big roomy comfortable summer tops for plus size goddesses - here is an example of one in pink and orange:
So light and easy to hand-wash while travelling, these make a statement and are fab to wear.
